Ike Barnes, hailing from Washington, DC pulls underground hip-hop in different directions with anthem type lyrical styles, independent-seamless beats and deep, soulful r&b singers in the background on his album, entitled, "The Inception," released '07.
Two hype men back up Ike, Kahdi Seems and Jose Risi at events, bringing a truely awesome sound to venues on the east coast.
When Ike was 14-years-old, he saved up just enough ‘fundage’ to purchase his first production workstation. Ike then took it upon himself to not only create beats and music for himself but for other artists in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he originated from.
